For these pieces I mixed textured silver and tourmaline.

I have sourced some small stones – tourmaline, star sapphire, citrine and garnets. I have also enjoyed mixing 14ct gold and silver.

Currently you can view my jewellery at Wanaka Interiors on Brownston Street, Wanaka, New Zealand and Thieving Keas on the lakefront, Wanaka.

                        I am enjoying working with Lapis and silver again after a break.

I have been making Paua and silver necklaces and brooches for a pop up art gallery on Stewart Island. The shells are heading home.

The brooches will work best with knit fabrics. 

On a recent trip to Australia I found some nice stones which I have used in rings. I have tried to work with their natural grain and shape.

I love being able to see the light shine through greenstone. The large pendant is set in silver but has a gap at the back to filter a bit of light. I have included some other greenstone and silver bits – silver works well with pounamu.

I have created these rings and pendants for the Wanaka Pre-School art auction fundraiser. I love the deep blue of the lapis and working with the ransom glitter and lines that the stone throws up.
